Key Responsibilities

As a Construction Helper, you will play a vital role in our projects by:

• Loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials
• Mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt
• Leveling earth to fine grade specifications
• Paving and raking asphalt
• Performing routine maintenance work
• Cleaning up chemical spills and other contaminants
• Tending or feeding machines or equipment used in construction
• Directing traffic at or near construction sites
• Operating vibrating tables to settle concrete
• Cleaning and maintaining sidewalks, streets, roads, and public grounds
• Shoveling cement and other materials into cement mixers, and spreading concrete and asphalt on road surfaces using shovels, rakes, and hand tampers
