About the Job

We are looking for a talented and experienced Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanic to join our skilled trades team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy equipment, ensuring that our machinery operates at peak performance. Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repairs required.
• Keep maintenance reports and documentation up to date.
• Utilize welding skills as needed for repairs.
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance and ensure compliance with manufacturers' specifications.
• Attach components and adjust new farm equipment.
• Perform cleaning, lubrication, and other maintenance tasks.
• Verify and repair emission control systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance and diagnostics on equipment.
• Locate and diagnose circuit, component, and equipment faults.

Qualifications

• Education: Registered Apprenticeship certificate
• Experience: 3 to 5 years in a similar role
• Certificates: Agricultural Equipment Technician Red Seal Certificate
• Driver's License: Class 3 or D
