Position Overview

As a Garden Supplies Sales Clerk, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service while assisting with various tasks related to plant care and sales. This is a seasonal position, offering between 35 to 50 hours bi-weekly, where you will engage directly with customers and help them find the perfect plants and gardening supplies.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers and discussing their needs regarding flowers and plants.
• Operate the cash register and accept various forms of payment, including cash, cheque, credit card, and automatic debit.
• Assist in the display of merchandise and prepare items for purchase, rental, or lease.
• Conduct sales transactions through our online platform.
• Engage in hands-on tasks such as potting and re-potting plants, pruning trees and shrubs, and tending to our greenhouse.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including greenhouse cleaning and weeding.
• Harvest seedlings and assist with seed cutting as needed.
