As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various routes, including international and long-haul travel. Key Responsibilities
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
- Load and unload goods efficiently and safely.
- Address customers' complaints or concerns with professionalism.
- Arrange travel itineraries and make necessary reservations.
- Obtain special permits and documents required for international cargo transport.
- Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
- Oversee the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage.
- Perform emergency roadside repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
- Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
