As a Structural Steel Drafter-Detailer, you will play a crucial role in preparing engineering designs and drawings that meet our clients' needs. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing engineering designs and detailed drawings
• Developing and preparing design sketches
• Creating construction specifications, cost estimates, and material estimates
• Consulting with clients, engineers, and production specialists to establish product requirements

Who We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Work Term: Permanent
• Work Language: English
• Hours: 80 to 90 hours bi-weekly
• Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
• Experience: 3 to 5 years in manufacturing engineering technology/technician or equivalent experience

Essential Skills and Certifications

We are looking for candidates with the following certifications and skills:

• AutoCAD Certification
• Drafting (Architectural) Trade Certification
• Steel Detailing Certification
• Proficiency in manual drafting, free-hand drafting, shop drawings, and detailing drafting
