Key Responsibilities

• Operate woodworking machines, including power saws, jointers, mortisers, and shapers, to cut, shape, and form parts and components.
• Utilize hand tools such as planes, chisels, and wood files to shape surfaces or edges of wood workpieces.
• Study plans, specifications, or drawings to create high-quality articles.
• Trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete units, reinforcing joints as necessary.
• Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products; prepare and apply laminated plastics.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements
