• Assist clients in selecting the perfect eyeglasses.
• Advise clients on the use and care of contact lenses.
• Arrange for grinding or polishing of lenses or perform these tasks yourself.
• Cut and edge lenses, fitting them into frames.
• Adjust finished eyeglasses to ensure a perfect fit for clients.
• Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision aids to correct patients' vision.
