About the Job

As a Quality Assurance Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and safety of our operations. Your expertise will help us ensure that our products not only meet but exceed industry standards. This is a permanent position with a work term of 32 to 40 hours per week, conducted primarily in English.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct component defect investigations, examinations, and tests.
  • Detain aircraft suspected of being unairworthy or unsafe.
  • Inspect aircraft and advise on any deficiencies.
  • Collect and analyze data from accidents.
  • Prepare draft investigative reports of findings.
  • Inspect and evaluate material and equipment for compliance with standards.
  • Recommend corrective or enforcement actions.
  • Provide expert advice and testimony.
  • Recommend improvements in inspection, licensing, and safety standards.
  • Conduct inspections and tests of various mechanical and electronic weighing and measuring devices and systems.
  • Inspect establishments and individuals holding or applying for air carrier operating certificates and those engaged in aircraft maintenance, repair, or modification.

  • Education: College/CEGEP
  • Experience: 2 to less than 3 years in a related field
