Are you an experienced helicopter pilot looking for a permanent position in a dynamic and rewarding environment? At Cougar Helicopters Inc., we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Helicopter Pilot to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work in commercial aviation within an urban setting, flying fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters while ensuring the highest safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fly fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters.
  • Follow emergency procedures to address equipment malfunctions or failures.
  • Monitor engine and aircraft systems during flight.
  • Record equipment malfunctions and corrective actions taken during flight.
  • Report required repairs to ground maintenance personnel.
  • Conduct in-flight tests and monitor aircraft equipment and systems.
  • Perform pre-flight inspections and check passenger and cargo distribution for weight and balance compliance.
  • Contact control towers for takeoff clearances and arrival instructions.
  • Maintain communication with flight dispatchers and weather forecasters.
  • Prepare flight evaluation reports.
