About the Job

As a Plasterer, you will play a crucial role in our projects by applying your skills to create smooth, durable finishes. This is a permanent position with a standard workweek of 40 hours. Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a flawless finish.
• Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster to various surfaces.
• Clean and prepare surfaces to ensure optimal adhesion and finish quality.
• Cure freshly plastered surfaces to enhance durability.
• Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
• Finish corners and angles, and create decorative designs in the finish coat as required.
• Mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency for application.
• Mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices, and trim.
• Smooth out excess compound and allow coats to dry properly.
• Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound.
• Prepare wall and ceiling layouts for efficient plastering.
• Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms as needed.
