About Part3
Part3 is a ConstructionTech startup building software that helps Architects and Engineers manage the construction phase of their projects.
Architects and Engineers design the buildings and communities we live in, but the construction administration process is often weighed down by manual tasks, disconnected tools, and unnecessary administrative work. Part3 gives design teams a better way to manage that work so they can move faster, protect their design intent, and spend more time on the work that matters.
We’re a venture-backed startup growing quickly across North America, and we’re looking for a Business Development Representative to help us expand our sales pipeline and reach more architecture and engineering firms.
About the Role
As a BDR at Part3, you’ll be responsible for creating new sales opportunities through thoughtful, high-volume outbound prospecting.
You’ll identify and engage architecture and engineering firms that are a strong fit for Part3, start meaningful conversations with decision-makers, understand their challenges, and create qualified opportunities for our sales team.
This is not a role where you’ll simply work through a list and send templated emails. We expect our BDRs to understand the market, think critically about who they’re reaching out to, experiment with messaging, and continuously improve how we generate pipeline.
You’ll have a high degree of autonomy, but with that comes a high level of accountability. We’re looking for someone who is competitive, curious, coachable, and excited to build a career in sales, RevOps or marketing.
What You’ll Do
- Prospect into architecture and engineering firms through cold calling, email, LinkedIn, and other outbound channels
- Generate qualified sales opportunities and contribute directly to Part3’s pipeline targets
- Research accounts and identify the right stakeholders within prospective customers
- Understand common challenges faced by Architects and Engineers during construction and communicate how Part3 can help
- Qualify prospects based on business pain, timing, decision-making process, and product fit
- Partner closely with Account Executives and leadership to ensure strong handoffs and high meeting attendance
- Accurately maintain prospecting activity, account information, and opportunity data in our CRM
- Test new messaging, sequences, targeting strategies, and outbound campaigns
- Use performance data to understand what is working and improve your approach
- Share what you’re learning from the market with the broader sales and marketing team
- Help us continue building and improving a repeatable outbound sales process
What We’re Looking For
- 1+ year of experience in a technology SDR or BDR role; co-op experience counts
- Experience in B2B SaaS is an asset
- Ability to work Eastern Time Zone business hours
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable making a high volume of cold calls and outbound touches
- Able to communicate confidently with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
- Strong organization and time-management skills
- Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment
- Curious and willing to learn a new industry, customer, and product deeply
- Competitive and motivated by measurable goals
- Coachable, accountable, and comfortable receiving direct feedback
- Able to balance persistence with good judgment and empathy
Bonus points for:
- Experience selling into architecture, engineering, construction, or another technical industry
- Experience with HubSpot, ZoomInfo, Salesloft, or similar sales tools
- Experience working at an early-stage startup
What Success Looks Like
You’ll be successful in this role if you can consistently create qualified opportunities while improving the quality and effectiveness of your outreach.
We care about activity, but activity alone isn’t the goal. We want BDRs who understand why prospects respond, learn from what isn’t working, and continuously get better at creating conversations that turn into real pipeline.
Why Part3?
At Part3, you won’t be a small piece of a massive sales organization.
You’ll work closely with our sales team, founders, and leadership and have a direct impact on how we grow. You’ll have room to experiment, develop your own approach, and contribute ideas that influence our outbound strategy.
We’re fully remote and believe strongly in giving people trust and autonomy. In return, we expect transparency, ownership, and a high standard of performance. We hold quarterly in-person
What you can expect:
- Autonomous and challenging work
- A flexible remote working environment
- Generous vacation policy
- Company equity
- Company MacBook
- Opportunities for career development
We have high standards and ambitious goals. You’ll be challenged here, but you’ll also have the opportunity to learn quickly, take on meaningful responsibility, and have a visible impact on the company.
