Junior Sales Representative

Location: Calgary, ABJob Type: Full-Time | Permanent | On-SiteSalary: $50,000–$60,000/year + Bonuses We are searching for a Junior Sales Representative that is team-oriented, and results driven. This position is responsible for developing new business and sustaining ongoing business relationships within Canada. Candidates with utilize their independence, and sound judgment to recognize oil and gas client workflow issues and articulate a value proposition with regards to our software solution. The chosen candidates will be accountable for the quality, timeliness, and accuracy of their work. Critical Attributes & Accountabilities:

• Develop on-going business relationships with prospective and current buyers within designated territories and assigned key accounts
• Achieve agreed upon revenue targets in each service line by winning new customers, as well as selling incremental business with current clients
• Use research and knowledge to reach out to prospective and existing accounts
• Uncover local buyer issues and needs, differentiating Critical Control Technologies from competitive service providers
• Support the retention of existing business as needed
• Support the sales efforts of others as needed
• Occasional travel may be required
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Post-Secondary degree or diploma in a technical field is highly preferred
• A minimum of 2-5 years of successful sales experience, preferably in any SaaS environment preferred
• Professional oil and gas industry sales experience with relationships preferred
• Service sales in the Oil & Gas industry preferred
• High computer application literacy (including Microsoft Office Suite)
• History of working remotely in the field that required autonomy and self-motivation
• Highly developed communication, networking/lead generation, relationship building, communication, and multi-tasking skills
• Account leadership experience that includes calling on multi-level plant or facilities management to accomplish company goals preferred
• Ability to remain objective in adverse situations with a high level of personal and business ethics
• Familiarity with CRM

Schedule: Monday–Friday - 8-hour shiftsLocation: On-site at our Calgary office (must be able to reliably commute)
