Integrum Compounding Centre is growing, and we are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team.
At Integrum, we create personalized medications designed around the unique needs of each patient. Our team works closely with pharmacists, healthcare practitioners, and patients to prepare customized treatment options that may not be available through traditional medications.

Why This Role MattersCompounding requires accuracy, care, organization, and strong teamwork.As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will help prescriptions move smoothly through each stage of the process. You will support the pharmacy team with prescription preparation, customer service, inventory, documentation, and the daily organization required in a specialized compounding environment.
Your attention to detail helps our pharmacists focus on patient safety, clinical decision-making, and creating high-quality customized medications.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Hands on preparing of personalized medications
- Assisting with prescription intake and entering prescription information
- Preparing prescriptions and materials for pharmacist review
- Supporting pharmacists and pharmacy technicians with daily workflow
- Assisting with compounding-related preparation, packaging, and labelling as trained and permitted
- Communicating professionally with patients, practitioners, and other pharmacies
- Responding to telephone, email, and in-person inquiries
- Processing payments and coordinating prescription pickups or deliveries
- Receiving inventory and organizing medications, ingredients, packaging, and pharmacy supplies
- Monitoring stock levels and assisting with inventory management
- Maintaining accurate records and completing administrative documentation
- Keeping pharmacy and work areas clean, organized, and compliant
- Following established procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements
What You Bring
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant is an asset
- Experience in a compounding pharmacy is an asset, although training may be provided
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Professional and compassionate communication
- Comfort working in a structured, process-driven environment
- The ability to manage multiple priorities without sacrificing quality
- A dependable, team-first approach
- An interest in learning about customized medications and compounding pharmacy services
Compensation and Schedule
- Competitive wage of $19.00 to $23.00 per hour, based on experience
- Full-time position working 32 - 40 hours per week
- Shifts may be scheduled between Monday and Saturday rotations
- No evening shifts
- No Sundays
- No statutory holiday shifts
