The Logic is seeking applications for the full-time position of manager, client partnerships (IC2/IC3).
We are an independent, made-in-Canada digital media company founded in 2018 with the belief that Canadians will pay for great journalism. Combining exclusive news, in-depth reporting, insightful analysis and smart curation, we confront the critical questions that shape this country’s economic future. We are headquartered in Toronto, with bureaus in Vancouver, Calgary, Ottawa and Montreal.
We are seeking a highly organized, relationship-driven manager, client partnerships to oversee The Logic’s client relationships and manage the end-to-end delivery of our commercial partnerships.
Reporting directly to the director of brand partnerships and collaborating closely with our commercial and operations teams, you will take ownership of The Logic’s client accounts. You will act as the primary day-to-day point of contact for partners, translating complex sponsorship agreements into clear project timelines and ensuring every commitment, including digital advertising, sponsored content and events, is delivered accurately, on schedule and to a high standard.
This role can be remote and located anywhere in Canada, but requires frequent travel to The Logic’s Toronto headquarters for client meetings, strategic planning and team collaboration (minimum five to seven times per year).
The ideal candidate is available to start no later than early October 2026.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead strategic account management for all sponsors, serving as their primary point of contact and trusted advisor, and take full ownership of client communications, from check-ins to renewals throughout the account life cycle
  • Translate complex partnership objectives and agreements into actionable project plans, managing the full execution life cycle for digital advertising, sponsored content and custom brand activations, ensuring on-time fulfilment and client satisfaction
  • Oversee all sponsor deliverables for The Logic’s virtual and in-person events, co-ordinating branding, guest access and execution logistics
  • Liaise between clients and relevant internal teams to drive alignment and keep cross-departmental deliverables on track
  • Deliver post-campaign analytics and reporting to demonstrate ROI while continuously refining account management, onboarding and deliverable tracking processes

Requirements & qualifications:
  • Background in media, advertising, sponsorships, event execution, account management or integrated marketing
  • Exceptional client-service mindset with outstanding written and verbal communication skills, along with confidence when presenting to and guiding senior stakeholders
  • Proven ability to take complex, multi-channel projects from kickoff to completion
  • Exceptional time management skills, and the ability to prioritize competing deadlines across multiple accounts
  • Comfort using project management, CRM and collaboration tools (e.g., Google Workspace, HubSpot, Asana, Slack, Trello and others)
  • Proactive problem-solving skills; the ability to anticipate delivery risks and resolve issues before they escalate
  • The ability to work independently, as part of a team or across teams, and the willingness to contribute wherever needed to ensure client success
