About This Role The Infrastructure Solutions Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise infrastructure solutions to ensure performance, reliability, scalability, and security. This role supports both project-based initiatives and ongoing operations, providing technical expertise across server infrastructure, virtualization, storage, cloud, and hybrid environments.
The Infrastructure Solutions Engineer works closely with internal teams and stakeholders to deliver scalable and secure infrastructure solutions aligned with business and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise infrastructure solutions, including server, virtualization, storage, and hybrid environments
• Configure and deploy infrastructure technologies across on-premises and cloud environments
• Support infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and new deployments
• Design and implement highly available and resilient infrastructure solutions
• Ensure infrastructure solutions align with security, performance, availability, and business requirements
• Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, capacity, and operational health
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, including escalations
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
• Maintain system uptime and service reliability in line with operational expectations
• Implement and maintain infrastructure security controls, including access controls, system hardening, and security policies
• Support vulnerability remediation, patch management, and infrastructure security initiatives
• Manage and support virtualization platforms, including VMware, Hyper-V, or similar technologies
• Support Windows Server and enterprise infrastructure services, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and related technologies
• Maintain accurate infrastructure documentation, configurations, and technical diagrams
• Identify opportunities to improve infrastructure performance, scalability, reliability, and efficiency
• Contribute to automation, process improvements, and infrastructure standardization efforts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on cloud, network, security, application, and systems initiatives
• Provide technical guidance and support to internal stakeholders and clients
• Communicate effectively on infrastructure issues, risks, and recommended solutions

Skills & Knowledge

• Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure and systems administration
• Experience with Windows Server and Microsoft infrastructure technologies
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Microsoft Hyper-V
• Knowledge of server, storage, backup, and disaster recovery technologies
• Understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other core infrastructure services
• Knowledge of cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments
• Understanding of infrastructure security principles and best practices
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring and diagnostic tools
• Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and documentation skills

Education & Experience

• Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 3 to 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, systems engineering, or a similar role
• Experience designing and supporting enterprise infrastructure environments
• Experience with Windows Server and Microsoft infrastructure technologies
• Experience with virtualization and hybrid infrastructure environments
• Experience supporting infrastructure migrations, upgrades, and deployments
• Experience with infrastructure security and backup technologies
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, VMware, CompTIA, or equivalent) are preferred

Compensation and Additional Perks

• Competitive Compensation based on Skill set and experience can range between $100,000 - $120,000
