Crew Lead - Climbing Arborist

Tree Care for People Who Care About TreesWe are seeking an experienced Climbing Arborist - Crew Lead to join our arboriculture team. This is a full-time short term contract from September to mid-December, with potential to become a permanent position if we're a fit for each other. The PositionThe Climbing Arborist - Crew Lead reports to the Owner, and has responsibility for:

• Tree care services, including removals and pruning over 14’
• Performing and overseeing operations at job sites
• Safety at the job site
• Communicating effectively with clients at job sites
• Mentoring other crew members

You might be the ideal person if:

• You enjoy working with people as much as you enjoy working with trees
• You have experience crew leading with a company that focuses on pruning and tree retention rather than removals
• You’re friendly and professional
• You view pruning and high-quality tree work as your craft
• You have an ISA Certification and 5 years climbing experience
• You have a valid BC Driver’s Licence & clean driving record
• You are physically fit, aware of body positioning during tasks, able to lift heavy objects & work in inclement weather
