• Strong analytical skills and the ability to put forward recommendations from the data provided
• A demonstrated interest in the real estate industry, with a curiosity to learn more about all aspects of development
• Strong confidence and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, along with PowerPoint
• Exceptional prioritization skills and a keen eye for detail
• Ability to work effectively within a group, as well as independently
• A go-getter attitude whilst working in a deadline-driven environment, with a strong ability to adhere to deadlines
• Confident presentation skills
• Professional written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with AI tools to assist with day to day tasks
• Great interpersonal skills
• Drive, motivation and an aptitude for learning
• A good sense of humour!

A DAY IN THE LIFEYou'll walk into our vibrant downtown office and grab a cup of Starbucks coffee from our kitchen. You'll spend your day working alongside our skilled Sales and Leasing team. You're a key part of collecting and analyzing data so that it can be used to make excellent business decisions — all while being part of awesome communities, learning a ton about the development industry, and having fun in the process. You will:

• Support the teams in valuation/pricing of potential and current project sites (residential)
• Collect data on new condominium, and townhome projects, and newer rental apartment developments throughout Metro Vancouver and other markets using primary and secondary research methods, including visiting competitor sites to gather firsthand market intelligence
• Maintain monthly and quarterly market internal reporting packages, and present to internal teams on the state of the market by drawing insights together from a variety of sources
• Provide key market insights on both the for-sale and rental markets, and communicate how these insights apply to our own communities and strategy
• Develop pricing and promotion recommendations based on current market observations and trends
• Assist in the assembly and coordination of due diligence data for financial partners and as well as internal departments
• Identify and monitor the pre-launch marketing of relevant new multi-family projects
• Monitor new development applications submitted to municipal planning departments throughout Metro Vancouver and other markets
• Attend project tours with a keen eye for detail, evaluating spec level, design details, and asking the questions that matter
• Participate in special projects research and perform other related duties as requested
