Royalty General Construction is looking for a Project Coordinator to support our project teams from start-up through closeout. Working closely with Project Managers and Site Supervisors, you will help maintain accurate documentation, coordinate project requirements, monitor progress, and contribute to the successful delivery of every project. The Role:As a Project Coordinator, you will be an important connection between the office, site, consultants, clients, and trade partners. You will anticipate what the team needs, follow through on commitments, and help ensure project information is complete, accurate, and accessible. - Support Project Managers with the coordination of projects from start-up through closeout.
- Track delegated tasks, priorities, deadlines, and project deliverables.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, logs, correspondence, and compliance records.
- Prepare and administer subcontractor agreements, purchase orders, and change orders.
- Coordinate requests for information, shop drawings, submittals, samples, and other project documentation.
- Assist with project cost tracking, invoicing, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Communicate regularly with Site Supervisors and respond to project and site requirements.
- Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and project requirements to help identify gaps or conflicts.
- Support quality control activities and the tracking of deficiencies and corrective actions.
- Help maintain health & safety documentation and support compliance with company and project requirements.
- Assist with project meetings, including agendas, minutes, action items, and follow-up.
- Support project closeout activities, including warranties, manuals, deficiencies, and final documentation.
- Build professional, collaborative relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
- At least two years of Project Coordinator or related experience in the construction industry preferably working with a General Contractor.
- Post-secondary education in construction management, engineering technology, architecture, or a related field is an asset.
- Strong organizational, documentation, and follow-through skills.
- The ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and scopes of work.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and project or document control systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Project or construction management software is an asset.
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and willingness to ask questions.
- A strong commitment to quality, safety, accountability, and client satisfaction.
