Bartender

The Bartender will ultimately be responsible for preparing and serving beverages and food, additionally taking any food orders by customers sitting at the bar. This position reports to the General Manager, Assistant General Manager (s), Shift Lead(s) and alternatively the Hospitality Manager as needed. This role will additionally work collaboratively with all members of the restaurant. Responsibilities:+ Mixing, garnishing, and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to menu specifications.+ Providing information on menu items and guiding customers through drink options.+ Taking orders and ensuring guests feel cared for during their time at Old Yale Brewing.+ Operating point of sale terminals and providing bills to customers.+ Monitoring bar inventory and ordering supplies and ingredients when needed.+ Ensuring compliance with provincial liquor laws.+ Roll up your sleeves and do what’s necessary to get the job done and complete other duties as required within the same scope and level.
Qualifications:+ Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to going above and beyond.+ High energy and performance-driven with a strong desire for continuous improvement; able to work effectively in a team environment.+ ProServe certification is preferred; must be of legal age to serve alcohol.+ Proven ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.+ Flexible, Dependable, and dedicated.+ Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
