Business Development & Estimating Specialist

Downright Demolition is Alberta's go-to team for complex commercial interior demolition. Hospitals, correctional facilities, industrial plants, office towers. We handle the jobs other demo companies can't safely take on.We're hiring someone who hunts. This isn't a desk job waiting for the bid board to fill up. You'll be out building relationships with GCs, property managers, and facilities directors, finding work before it hits a public tender, and turning those relationships into signed POs.What you'll do

• Build and work a pipeline of general contractors, developers, and facility managers across Alberta
• Get in front of decision-makers consistently, not just when a bid is posted
• Qualify opportunities and hand off well-scoped leads to our estimating team
• Represent Downright at industry events, walkthroughs, and site visits
• Track activity and pipeline in our CRM so nothing falls through the cracks

What you bring

• A track record of proactively generating new business, not managing inbound
• Comfort in construction, industrial, or commercial trades environments
• Confidence walking into a GC's office without an invitation
• Organized enough to follow up relentlessly without being told to
• Bonus: estimating or demolition industry background, but we'll train the right hunter

CompensationBase salary of $60,000 to $75,000 depending on experience, plus a commission structure on new business you originate. On target earnings of $90,000 to $130,000 for a candidate who consistently generates qualified opportunities. Full details discussed at interview.Benefits
