About the job:The successful candidate will:
- Experience in working with clients suffering from mental health conditions and be willing to work with a diverse patient population.
- Have knowledge and/or experience in cannabis education and an interest to continually learn (in house training will be provided).
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and mental health.
- Educate patients on medication regimens, potential side effects, and proper administration techniques.
- Drive CHC’s business forward by participating in community and physician outreach.
- Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Have the ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Bilingualism in French/English is considered an asset.
- Use Canada House's electronic medical software for registering clients and keeping up to date patient notes.
- Register new clients, conduct a thorough medical intake, and provide cannabis education.
- Maintain up to date knowledge on Licensed Producers products and services.
- Recommend cannabis treatment plans and cannabis prescriptions to clients under the direction of a Licensed Physician and/or Nurse Practitioner within the guidelines and regulations set forth by Health Canada (i.e. ACMPR).
- Participate in and/or lead community support groups.
- Provide a high quality of service to all clients via phone lines and responding to electronic inquiries with a clear client service focus.
- Must stay apprised of all SOP’s regarding completing all listed duties and offer positive input and solutions when the opportunity presents itself.
- Report directly to the Director of Clinical Services

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm local time

Licence/Certification:
- LPN (required)
- CPR Certification (required)
