Job Responsibilities:
· Perform the full cycle of accounting activities including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.· Assist with period, quarter, and annual closings.· Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations.· Create journal entries for adjustments and accruals.· Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established standards.· Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial transactions.· Perform weekly cheque-runs with a focus on timeliness and accuracy.· Administer monthly expense reimbursements efficiently and in compliance with company policies.· Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned. You will be a good fit if you have:· A bachelor’s in business administration with a major in accounting and are either actively pursuing or planning to pursue a CPA.· Minimum of 2+ years of industry experience· Experience with ERP systems and cost accounting would be an asset· Strong computer skills (internet, MS Excel, MS Word)· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills· Strong communication skills (written and verbal)· Able to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines.
