About the Role
We are looking for staff to support our operations this season!
The Support Staff role at Food Dudes is a dynamic and interchangeable position that combines the responsibilities of a Server and a Kitchen Hand. This role is essential to ensuring seamless operations and exceptional service across our events and venues. As an integral part of the team, Support Staff assist with event setup and teardown, maintain cleanliness and organization throughout service, provide behind-the-scenes support to chefs and event managers and engage with guests when required.This is a fast-paced, hands-on position that demands strong teamwork, attention to detail and a positive attitude. Support Staff are committed to delivering exceptional service, ensuring every detail is executed flawlessly. From maintaining a polished and professional environment to anticipating the needs of both guests and colleagues, our Support Staff play a vital role in upholding the Food Dudes’ reputation for excellence.
Support Staff ResponsibilitiesServer:

• Actively participate in event set-up, ensuring all necessary equipment, furniture and decor are properly arranged.
• Assist in the smooth execution of events, attending to guest needs and maintaining the overall flow throughout the event.
• Clearing and keeping service spaces clean and organized throughout the event.
• Efficiently tear down event spaces including cleaning, organizing and storing equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service while serving food and beverages.
• Handle heavy lifting and moving of equipment, furniture and supplies as required.

Kitchen Hand:

• Aid Chefs in food preparation, plating and organization.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation in kitchen areas.
• Assist with kitchen tear-down after service.
• Strictly follow all company health and safety procedures and guidelines.
• Handle heavy lifting and moving of equipment, furniture and supplies as required.
• Familiarize yourself with the food and beverage items offered by The Food Dudes.

Qualifications

• Smart Serve certification required
• Food Handler Certificate, an asset
• Strong communication and multitasking skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay organized under pressure
• Availability to work flexible shifts including weekdays, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Being actively available to work at multiple locations throughout the GTA
