POSITION SUMMARYWe are looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our electrical construction teams throughout our northern Saskatchewan uranium support projects. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with at least three years of underground experience.
This is a fly-in/fly-out (FIFO) camp position. Flights to site depart from Saskatchewan only.
Accommodations: rooms and meals are provided during each rotation.
Shift Rotations: 2 weeks on / 1 week off or 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off (depending on project needs)
Shift Length: typical workdays are 11 hours

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Establish and maintain good relations with site personnel and customers
  • Comply with the Company’s corporate Health and Safety manual
  • Adhere to both Flyer Electric and customer policies and procedures
  • Supervise and lead a team of electricians, providing guidance and mentorship
  • Oversee electrical installations from start to finish
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
  • Coordinate with other trades, contractors, clients and site personnel
  • Plan schedules, order materials, and manage project budgets and resources
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality checks
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues
  • Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders and management
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment
  • Prepare and submit project reports
  • Coordinate with subcontractors
  • Advise management on milestone completion status
  • Handle any on-site emergencies or issues promptly
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Attend daily and weekly site meetings, as well as all mandatory training
  • Maintain a professional image and demonstrate positive attitude, teamwork, and workmanship
  • Willing to work extra hours to meet project deadlines and maintain crew efficiency
  • Perform any other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
  • 3+ years of underground experience with eligibility for an Underground Supervision Certificate
  • Qualified Electrical Worker Certificate
  • Interprovincial Red Seal Journeyperson Certificate - Construction Electrician trade
  • Saskatchewan Electrical License
  • Valid Leadership for Safety Excellence
  • Valid Fall Protection and EWP
  • Valid First Aid
  • Basic knowledge and ability to use computers and Microsoft Office programs
  • Previous leadership experience in industrial electrical work, or a strong reference from past employer stating qualities of such
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull, bend, climb, squat, reach, and kneel
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license
  • Maintain clean driving abstract and Drug and Alcohol clearance
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
