RMP Advisors LLP is recruiting on behalf of our client, a large and well-established contracting company with a strong presence across the Windsor–Essex region. Known for delivering high-quality work and maintaining long-standing client relationships, the organization continues to experience steady growth.
As part of this growth, they are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who brings strong project management experience, practical judgment, and the ability to keep projects moving forward efficiently.
About the RoleThe Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing projects from initiation through completion ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are consistently met. This individual will play a key role in coordinating teams, maintaining communication, and driving successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project start-up activities, ensuring all requirements are in place for a successful launch
  • Maintain consistent communication with Site Supervisors and conduct regular site visits to ensure quality and progress
  • Attend project meetings with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans and schedules
  • Prepare and submit monthly billings and status updates for leadership
  • Estimate project scope, including change orders (CCNs) and site instructions
  • Coordinate and manage subtrades, equipment, and materials to align with project timelines
  • Monitor and manage project risks, addressing issues proactively
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget

What You Bring
  • Proven experience in project management, ideally within construction, mechanical, HVAC, or plumbing environments
  • Strong knowledge of building codes and industry practices
  • Excellent communication skills with both clients and internal teams
  • Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Sound judgment and practical problem-solving abilities
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and project-related systems
