Position SummaryAs Membership Sales Lead, you are the engine behind Stem Health's member acquisition across both individual and corporate channels. You respond fast, build trust quickly, and translate our Membership and Annual Health Assessment (AHA) options into clear next steps for prospective members and employer buyers alike.Reporting to the Sales Director, you execute the full funnel — inbound conversion, outbound prospecting, and channel support — while the Sales Director owns overall strategy, broker relationships, and distribution partnerships. You will guide prospective members from curious, to booked, to signed, and you will help the Sales Director land the B2B accounts that expand our membership base at scale. This is a high-activity role in a start-up environment. Volume and consistency matter. So does care.
Key ResponsibilitiesInbound conversion (D2C)
- Own the end-to-end conversion of inbound leads from marketing, events, and digital channels. Respond with speed and a consultative, unhurried tone.
- Recommend the right next step for each prospective member: Membership, Annual Health Assessment, or a follow-up conversation.
- Ask for commitment — a booked visit, a deposit, or a signed membership agreement — and close with clarity.
- Re-engage prospective members from prior campaigns, referral partners, and lapsed inquiries.
- Execute disciplined outbound outreach to high-net-worth individuals and corporate HR and benefits leaders across phone, email, LinkedIn, and in-person channels.
- Work daily from a personal call list so leads do not disappear into the void.
- Build and run simple, well-timed follow-up sequences that respect the prospective member's time and signal our standard.
- Support the Sales Director on broker, benefits consultant, and employer conversations — prepare materials, run follow-ups, and carry deals through onboarding.
- Convert warm introductions from distribution partners into booked discovery calls and signed agreements.
- Keep clear notes and stages in HubSpot so any teammate can pick up a conversation without losing context.
- Forecast weekly. Surface what is working and what is not — objections you are hearing, where the message is landing, where it is not.
- Collaborate with marketing on call scripts, email templates, and landing page copy grounded in real conversations.
- Explain how Stem Health works in plain, everyday language — what membership includes, how the Care Advocate supports members, and how the Annual Health Assessment fits.
- Walk prospective members through Foundation and Signature tiers and the Team offering for employers, without jargon.
- Support occasional in-clinic tours, webinars, and events for prospective members.
- Three to five years in a full-cycle or high-activity sales role — inside sales, membership sales, hospitality, premium consumer, financial services, or client advisory.
- A track record of hitting conversion targets and managing a disciplined outbound cadence.
- Comfortable on phone, video, text, and email — and confident discussing pricing and asking for a clear yes or no.
- Strong personal organization system for tasks, notes, and follow-up. Comfort with a modern CRM (HubSpot preferred).
- Genuine interest in health, wellness, and proactive care.
- Comfortable in an early-stage setting where playbooks are being built, not handed down.
- Availability for flexible hours when campaigns or events run in the evening.
- Join a venture-backed start-up at a ground-floor moment — the flagship clinic opens at First Canadian Place in September 2026.
- Own the revenue mechanics of a premium, physician-led practice during its most consequential chapter.
- Work alongside an interdisciplinary team of clinicians, designers, and technologists building a new model of primary care in Canada.
- Report into an experienced Sales Director and work in a culture that values ownership, empathy, and evidence-based excellence.
- Competitive base with meaningful performance-tied upside.
