Key Responsibilities· Lead multidisciplinary engineering projects from planning through delivery· Manage scope, schedule, budget, and resourcing across concurrent projects· Act as the primary client interface and ensure strong stakeholder alignment· Coordinate internal teams—projects, cross-disciplinary engineers, operations, and finance—and external partners, contractors, clients, and vendors· Identify and manage project risks, issues, and changes· Create and maintain workable schedules based on approved project bids· Drive consistency in project execution, reporting, and delivery standards· Support the development of project management best practices across the organization· Provide day-to-day mentorship to junior Project Management Office team members
What We’re Looking For· P.Eng. (or eligible within the year)· 8–12 years of experience in engineering consulting (mining, wastewater, environmental services, or infrastructure)· Proven experience delivering multi-discipline projects (~$10–30M in client capital investment)· Strong commercial acumen (budget ownership, forecasting, margin awareness)· Confident client-facing and stakeholder management skills· Strong communication skills, with the ability to lead teams while remaining technically credible
Nice to Have· PMP certification (or willingness to obtain within the first year)· Experience implementing project controls or improving delivery processes· Familiarity with evolving departments and processes in growing organizations
Compensation· Base salary: $130,000–$145,000· 3 weeks of paid vacation annually + bonus company-wide festive week of paid leave annually· Manulife health care coverage upon hire· 1–5% GRRSP and a company-funded HSA upon completion of probation· Professional dues, travel, and EHS certification reimbursement· Up to $1,000 annually in education matching after 1 year of service
