What You’ll Do
- Material Handling & Site Preparation – Unload, stage, and prepare demountable wall components for installation.
- Precision Installation – Assemble and install modular glass, aluminum-framed partitions, and panel systems according to blueprints, manufacturer guidelines, and project specifications, ensuring compliance with both union and non-union installation standards.
- Technical Expertise – Measure, cut, and fit components accurately, ensuring proper alignment and seamless installation.
- Quality Control & Documentation – Ensure damage-free installations, troubleshoot issues, and document findings using the Corrective Action Report (C.A.R.) process.
- Safety & Teamwork – Work collaboratively with the team while following OHSA & WHMIS safety protocols.
- Client Interaction – Occasionally work on-site at client locations, demonstrating professionalism and strong customer service skills.
- Project Completion – Ensure installations are completed on time and within scope.
What We’re Looking For✅ Must-Haves
- Level 1 (Entry-Level Technician) – 0 to 1,800 hours (Up to 1 year of experience)
- Level 2 (Junior Technician) – 1,801 to 3,600 hours (Approx. 1 to 2 years of experience)
- Level 3 (Intermediate Technician) – 3,601 to 5,400 hours (Approx. 2 to 3 years of experience)
- Level 4 (Senior Technician) – 5,401 to 7,200 hours (3+ years of experience)
Other Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 0–3 months of experience in construction, carpentry, or modular wall installation (Training Provided!).
- Ability to lift 50 lbs frequently and up to 60 lbs occasionally.
- Basic mechanical skills – ability to use hand and power tools.
- Understanding of Occupational Health & Safety (OHSA) & WHMIS 2015.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and teamwork skills.
- Valid Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check.
➕ Nice-to-Haves (Not Required, but Beneficial)
- Experience in architectural wall installation or commercial office setup.
- Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
- Basic knowledge of electrical components (e.g., circuits and wiring for powered wall systems).
