You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing strategic marketing plans for AgriRoots Capital Management Inc. You will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to develop and lead the marketing strategy. This entails developing a deep understanding of customer needs, and the business offering.You will have extensive experience developing and leading marketing strategies that attract new customers and partnership opportunities, as well as managing internal teams to achieve marketing goals.
What are the details of this position? Marketing & Communications Strategy · Manage and make recommendations on various marketing initiatives and strategies. · Develop a crystal-clear understanding of AgriRoots’ B2C/B2B consumer journeys, creating the right media mix and calls-to-action for each.· Craft and present campaign plans, updates, and performance reports for senior leadership review and sign-off.· Monitors and evaluates competitor and/or industry activities to identify threats and opportunities.· Ensure disciplined KPI establishment, measurement, and analyses to enable strategic conversations, and fuel insights and future marketing opportunities.Project Management· Lead all owned channel creative including developing and executing against bold creative briefs aligning with clear business objectives.· Develop content and creative for all owned channels including social media, email, online advertisements, presentation decks / sales materials, etc. Team Management · Build, manage and leverages relationships with key stakeholders, project teams, clients, suppliers and corporate communications to market products and services and to ensure their cooperation and engagement.· Creates a positive work environment and culture by providing clear objectives and performance expectations for direct reports. Ensures the continuing development of employees and provides employees with the support necessary to deliver against the expectations of their roles· Agency management: works with agencies or other third parties to create integrated and effective online and offline brand marketing campaigns. Acts as the corporate resource on marketing and acts as liaison with the Corporation's agencies of record and other suppliers of advertising and promotion services; provides information with regards to the product, timing, target requirements etc.Administrative Support· Support the day-to-day relationships with business, product, and sales partners to influence product strategy and determine how to best communicate to market· Manage and coordinate programs, budget, timelines, objectives, impact, and scope.
The Ideal Candidate:· High level of written and oral communication skills· Big-picture thinker able to focus on the needs within sales areas while implementing enterprise-wide strategies· Proven project management and organizational skills. Ability to multi-task, as well as confidently and effectively lead a project team through timelines, prioritization, budget management and collaboration· Knowledgeable about marketing functions (e.g. digital marketing, targeted, content strategy, social media, collateral) and the role each plays in a successful marketing organization· Positive, upbeat, professional, and responsible attitude, independent and self-directed with a strong ability to work collaboratively with peers and senior leadership · Comfortable with respectfully challenging the status quo, development and implementation of marketing strategies and roadmaps via thought leadership, insight-based planning, campaign strategy, and executional expertise
Must Have: · Experience in or deep understanding of agricultural and/or finance business· Undergraduate degree in marketing, agriculture, or business administration· Minimum 5 years of experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Work Hours: Core work hours Mon-Fri 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, This is a full-time position and work hours may vary.
