Retail Floor Associate
Job Summary Reporting to the Store Manager, the Retail Floor Associate is responsible for ensuring all retail sales, assisting customers in helping them find everything they need, replenishing the stock on the floor, and cashing customers out at the register.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesRetail Floor

• Create a welcome environment by greeting all customers as they walk through the doors
• Providing excellent customer service by ensuring the customer takes priority and answer questions
• Maximizing sales opportunities to achieve store targets
• Keep up to date with knowledge which includes new products, promotions, and rewards program
• Complete all opening and closing procedures

Information Desk

• Answer all related inquiries via the phone
• Answer any questions and inquiries from customers who come to the information desk
• Organize plants and shelves around the information desk

Plant Stocking

• Restock plants on the retail floor
• Help maintain plant displays by cleaning and organizing
• Deadhead and clean up plants
• Assist with receiving shipments and organizing them on the retail floor

Qualifications

• In-depth plant knowledge
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to problem-solve
• Exceptional customer service
• Basic merchandising knowledge
