Graphic Designer

The brewery started as an idea by our president and founder in his university apartment. Since then, our company has grown exponentially to include restaurants, microbreweries, retail spaces, and more.As the Graphic Designer you’d work collaboratively with key stakeholders on design projects and media! The Role:

• Manage various competing projects while meeting deadlines
• Work to create projects and media using Adobe, Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
• Update and maintain internal databases for design, photography and all other media
• Meet with other team members to determine requirements and vision for design elements, which may include multiple strategy meetings
• Create multiple different versions of a similar product and send them through approvals
• Work with key stakeholders to ensure all designs meet company standards
• Review final copy with team to ensure there are no errors

Your Assets:

• Diploma, Degree or Certificate in Graphic Design or related field/program
• 3+ years Graphic Design experience in a design studio, agency or equivalent, ideally within the alcohol beverage or consumer packaged goods industry
• Creative thinker with a proven ability to translate strategic direction into high-quality design
• Enthusiasm and a passion for craft beer (a big win for us, but not necessary!)
• Results oriented, driven, and disciplined with a “can do” attitude
• Skilled visual storyteller, with print production experience – we'd love to see your portfolio or website to showcase your talent!
• Experience with colour separations and spot colours
• Understanding and experience with corporate branding, layout, color theory & typography in both print & digital media, with a proven ability to read and understand branding guidelines
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills – a commitment to building effective internal and external relationships is key!
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, CSS / HTML / Shopify
• Animation and After Effects experience is also preferred

Working Conditions

• Occasional travel within Ontario to our locations
• Periods of sitting and working on a computer
