- Apply your accounting expertise to build trust and precision in every client interaction.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for reporting purposes in accordance with Canadian GAAP.
- Oversee the preparation of corporate, individual and trust tax returns and ensure compliance with all Canadian tax regulations.
- Listen attentively to and address client needs, recommending solutions that align with their business goals and comply with Canadian tax laws.
- Eventually evolve into a leadership role, managing a team of dedicated client accounting professionals, instilling a culture of innovation, excellence, and client-centric service.
- CPA designation (Canada) with minimum of 3 years of public practice experience since becoming a CPA.
- Minimum or 7 years or proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role in public accounting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices (GAAP).
- Strong knowledge of Canadian tax regulations (ITA, ETA, PST, etc).
