About the Role
We're on the lookout for a dynamic and forward-thinking individual to join our team as a Sales Engineer. In this role, you'll be at the intersection of innovation and revenue generation, spearheading the launch of our new TikTok Shops service within our paid ads agency. This position isn't just about managing accounts; it's about architecting creative strategies that drive revenue while cultivating and maintaining meaningful relationships with clients and content creators.
Responsibilities:
Sales Engineering:
- Leverage technical expertise to align our TikTok Shops service with client objectives, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop customized solutions that meet client needs while maximizing revenue opportunities.
TikTok Shops:
- Lead the implementation and optimization of our TikTok Shops service.
- Drive revenue through innovative strategies tailored for TikTok's dynamic platform.
- Continuously analyze trends and user behavior to enhance shop performance.
Account Management:
- Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are not only met but exceeded.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and align our services accordingly.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, issues, and feedback.
Creative Strategy:
- Develop and execute creative strategies for outreach to content creators, maximizing collaboration opportunities.
- Work closely with the creative team to ensure compelling and impactful content aligning with brand and campaign objectives.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, identifying new opportunities for engaging and innovative campaigns.
Sales Team Member:
- Collaborate with the sales team to support lead generation efforts and contribute to the development of new sales strategies.
- Provide insights and feedback from client interactions to enhance our overall sales approach.
- Actively participate in brainstorming sessions to identify and pursue new revenue streams.
Marketing Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing strategies that enhance the visibility and success of all agency services.
- Provide valuable insights into customer behavior and preferences to inform marketing campaigns/strategy.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in digital marketing, sales, or account management.
- In-depth knowledge of TikTok and its ecosystem.
- Affiliate and/or Creator management experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think creatively and strategically to drive revenue growth.
- Familiarity with paid ads and e-commerce is a plus.
Compensation Structure:
- Base Salary: $1,500/mo
- Direct Sales Commission (non-recurring):
- 8% of Direct Sales: Earn a commission of 8% on personal sales, rewarding individual contribution and performance.
- Managed Accounts Commission:
- 8% of Total Managed Accounts Revenue: Receive an 8% commission based on the total revenue generated from managed accounts.
- Performance Bonus:
- Additional Bonus for Achieving Revenue Targets: Receive an additional bonus for surpassing specified revenue targets, rewarding high performance. $5,000 bonus if the sales team closes $2 million in closed revenue for the year.
