- Drive business growth and development through prospecting new business clients in an assigned territory.
- Connect with Key Decision Makers using various unique activities, including but not limited to cold calls, LinkedIn connections and messages, and emails.
- Arrange and set in-person or virtual meetings with appropriate Key Decision Makers.
- Update and enhance the supporting database (Salesforce).
- Manage activity within the sales funnel to shorten the sales cycle time.
- Sales experience within a professional services environment.
- Preference for “hunting” over “farming.”
- Comfort with using Excel and social media, specifically LinkedIn.
- Proficiency with Salesforce.com is an asset.
- Strong conversational skills, persuasiveness, and coachability.
- Competitive and team-oriented attitude, suited for those always looking to win.
- Strong communication skills via multiple channels, including phone, email, and in-person.
- Strong interpersonal skills to quickly develop trust with potential clients.
- Strong organizational skills to balance multiple opportunities at any given time.
- Understanding of general business practices across multiple industries.
- Reliability and the ability to work autonomously.
- A strong work ethic along with assertiveness and self-motivation to attain results.
- Leadership experience preferred but not required.
