Delivery Driver

Job Description
We are a fast-growing, family-owned grocery store. We take pride in providing our customers with quality food products and top-notch service and we are looking for an energetic and determined individual to join our current team!
Duties:

• Complete daily deliveries
• Observe and report equipment or mechanical failures immediately
• Manage routes and routines so they proceed in the most efficient way possible
• Find ways to conserve resources, including fuel, to benefit the business
• Serve as a brand advocate and ambassador in every interaction with clients and the
• public
• Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle at the end of the shift and report any problems or damage to management
• Load and unload product
• Inspect product for quality before receiving
• Follow all safety policies and procedures
• Conduct pick ups and deliveries as needed through out work week
• Keep the vehicle clean, tidy and presentable to customers
• Any additional tasks deemed necessary by manager

Preferred Requirements

• Clean driving record
• Drivers abstract must be submitted
• Customer service and driving of at least 4 years
• Approachable and friendly to customers and staff
• Enthusiasm for food
• Good communication and listening skills
• Attention to detail
• Team player
• Able to respond, react and adapt quickly to change
• Must be able to provide professional references

Job Types: Full-time
Salary: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
