Temporary position for 12 months, with possibility of extension.
The Cybersecurity Monitoring Ecosystem Department is currently looking to add an ML/LLM and Generative AI specialist to the team responsible for the industrialization, governance and development of the organization’s AI capabilities. You’ll work in a modern cloud environment where the performance, security, compliance and governance of AI solutions are central to supporting our strategic business sectors. As an LM/LLM and GenAI specialist, you’ll contribute to the implementation, evolution and operation of the Security Office’s AI capabilities. You’ll work in close collaboration with the AI Architect and data platform teams on the industrialization of GenAI solutions and the application of LLMOps practices to enable the reliable, secure and high-performance deployment of production models. As a key member of the LLMOps squad, your role consists in making sure the directions set by the AI Architect are fulfilled. You’ll help build and develop robust, secure and operational GenAI capabilities that reflect the organization’s strategic objectives, as set by the Security Office. More specifically, you will be required to:
- Develop, launch and maintain AI, GenAI and LLM solutions in accordance with Desjardins Group’s architectural standards and frameworks.
- Implement the LLMOps practices necessary for automation, ongoing deployment, continuous integration and production model oversight.
- Participate in the full life cycle of the models, including evaluation, deployment, performance monitoring, versioning, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and integrate processing chains for language models, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) mechanisms and inference services.
- Contribute to optimizing the performance, resilience and operational efficiency of AI solutions released on the data platform.
- Collaborate with the security, platform, data and architecture teams to ensure security, compliance and governance requirements are met.
- Implement monitoring, observability and alert mechanisms to help track the quality, usage and stability of AI solutions.
- Participate in the evaluation of cloud models, tools, and services in order to identify solutions that meet the needs of the Security Office.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development, automation and operational practices associated with the organization’s AI capabilities.

What you bring to the table
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software development or a related field
- A minimum of six years of relevant experience
- Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Knowledge of French is required
- Expertise in software development, Machine Learning or artificial intelligence
- Advanced knowledge of Machine Learning concepts
- Advanced knowledge of Large Language Models (LLM) and GenAI solutions
- Advanced knowledge of Python and the main modern AI ecosystems
- Mastery of LangChain, Semantic Kernel, Hugging Face, OpenAI, Azure OpenAI and other similar tech
- Advanced proficiency with Databricks, MLflow, Azure Machine Learning or other AI industrialization platforms
- Familiarity with the creation and implementation of RAG solutions, AI agents, chatbots and other similar services
- Knowledge of model evaluation techniques, prompt engineering, context management and response quality improvement
- Knowledge of fine-tuning, embeddings, vector search, and knowledge base concepts
- Familiarity with the application of MLOps and LLMOps practices in production environments
- Ability to translate complex business needs into robust and actionable AI solutions
