Job Summary:

Under the responsibility of the Manager, Human Resources, the incumbent of this position supervises the team of advisors who act as the first point of contact for all employees and managers (store managers, coordinators and operations directors) of the Northeast Division. He/she also takes on the advisory role for one or more regions and participates in various Human Resources projects.

Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Coach, motivate and supervise the team of advisors in their daily tasks. Ensure consistency in the management of files across the stores in the Eastern Canada divisions.
• Manage more complex labor relations problems and, if necessary, make a decision regarding contesting files.
• Represent the employer in disputed cases;
• Advise our in-store stakeholders on different aspects of human resources management;
• Hold employee meetings in store and offer personalized “coaching”;
• Support our directors and coordinators in resolving human resources-related matters;
• Supervise activities related to the management of disciplinary measures;
• Develop tools to improve the company’s human resources management practices;
• Manage and participate in various projects related to human resources management.
• Stay abreast of new trends and legislative changes to ensure the updating and optimization of our practices, policies and procedures.

Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (Human Resources or related);
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in an advisory role;
- Experience in personnel management, an asset;
- Possess a valid driving license;
- Mastery of the MS Office environment (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.);
- Bilingualism required (English & French)

This position is being offered on a temporary basis for a period of up to 24 months (dependent on start date).

Total base pay range: $65,000 - $75,000 CAD Annual
