Job Description

You will be working on a flexible hybrid schedule as part of Fidelity’s dynamic working arrangement.

Current work authorization for Canada is required for all openings.

The work location for this role is 483 Bay Street in Toronto until approximately late 2026, when the work location will change to the new Mississauga office at 3 Robert Speck Parkway.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

The Digital Content Specialist is responsible for creating clear, concise and customer-centered content that enhances the digital experience across Fidelity Investments Canada and Investly platforms. This role works closely with product managers, UX designers, developers and business

stakeholders to craft intuitive user interface content that guides customers through digital journeys, supports task completion and builds confidence. The Digital Content Specialist applies content design principles, user insights and accessibility standards to create consistent, engaging and

compliant experiences across web and mobile applications.

What You Will Do:

  • Apply user research, behavioral insights, and analytics to optimize content and improve user understanding.

  • Produce content that supports task completion and reduces customer friction.

  • Delivers content that meets accessibility, plain language, legal and compliance standards.

  • Achieves stakeholder approval and delivery within project timelines.

  • Adheres to established content standards, style guides and UX writing best practices.

  • Ensures consistency across customer journeys, products and channels.

  • Identifies Identify and addresses content gaps, duplication and inconsistencies.

  • Contributes to the ongoing evolution of content guidelines and reusable content patterns.

  • Participate in product discovery, design reviews and sprint planning activities.

  • Provides content recommendations that improve usability and customer experience.

  • Incorporates stakeholder feedback while advocating for customer needs and best practices.

  • Delivers content that supports business objectives and user goals.

  • Uses customer feedback, usability testing and performance data to identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Recommend content enhancements based on data and observed user behaviors.

  • Supports A/B testing and content experiments where applicable.

  • Demonstrates improvements in content effectiveness, customer engagement and task completion

What We’re Looking For

  • College degree, preferably with communications, copywriting or related specialization or equivalent experience.

  • 1+ years of experience in a UI writing role

Expertise You Bring

  • Strong understanding of UX writing content design and information architecture principles.

  • Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts into clear, concise language.

  • Knowledge of user-centered design methodologies, usability testing and customer journey mapping.

  • Understanding of digital product development processes and agile ways of working.

  • Ability to create content for mobile applications, responsive web experiences and digital products.

  • Experience working within legal, regulatory or compliance requirements for digital content is an asset.

For this role, your total rewards include:
• Base Salary and Discretionary Performance Bonus: Total annual cash compensation (base salary plus target bonus) ranges from A competitive annual range of $79,000 to $96,000, based on your experience and qualifications.
• RRSP Contribution: After 6 months of employment, we invest in your future with an RRSP contribution—no employee matching required.
