The DD team is primarily responsible for conducting periodic Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) reviews for Global Transaction Banking’s (GTB) portfolio of correspondent bank clients.
Reporting to the Director or Team Leader, the Associate, Client Services will conduct client risk assessments, including a thorough review of adverse media and geopolitical risks associated with all jurisdictions where the bank operates. The role also involves coordinating compliance meetings as required. The Due Diligence team partners closely with internal /external stakeholders to ensure that best AML practices are consistently applied.
As a member of the CS DD team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the successful execution of CIBC’s Enterprise AML framework as it pertains to GTB’s correspondent banking clients. At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. Details on your work arrangement (proportion of on-site and remote work) will be discussed at the time of your interview.
How you’ll succeed

Ensure AML and compliance reports are complete, accurate, and processed in a timely manner for submission to GTB Relationship Managers and other internal stakeholders, in accordance with existing SLAs.
