As a Tech Platform Lead, Solutions Architect, you provide technical leadership for Collabria’s cloud platforms, APIs, integrations, digital applications, business platforms and supplier solutions. You ensure technology investments are secure, scalable, supportable and cost-effective while actively contributing to delivery planning, production incident management, supplier reviews and operational readiness. The role is expected to consist of approximately 40% architecture and governance and 60% operational leadership and delivery support. More specifically, you will be required to :
Platform architecture and direction
- Define practical solution standards and reusable patterns for Microsoft Azure, APIs, integrations, the Collabria portal, eApplications, Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, Halo and supplier-managed platforms.
- Translate business requirements into secure, maintainable and sustainable technology solutions, while documenting key decisions and the associated trade-offs.
- Maintain target-state roadmaps, reference architectures, application and integration inventories, and technology portfolio lifecycle considerations.
- Review technology designs prepared by suppliers, consultants and internal teams and flag proposals that introduce avoidable operational risk, complexity and additional costs.
Operational leadership and delivery support
- Provide hands-on technical leadership during complex incidents, recurring problem investigations and supplier escalations requiring sound judgment across multiple platforms.
- Assess operational readiness before production releases by ensuring that monitoring, logging, runbooks, resolution procedures and handoffs to support teams are complete.
- Support delivery teams with design decisions, resolution of technical roadblocks and implementation planning while balancing immediate needs with the platforms’ long-term health.
- Coordinate external architecture specialists when in-depth Azure, cybersecurity, Salesforce, API or supplier-specific expertise is required.
API, cloud and integration governance
- Establish API integration principles covering authentication, versioning, error handling, observability, certificate management and partner integration.
- Guide decisions related to Azure platform patterns, network and identity architecture, resilience, disaster recovery and cost management in collaboration with engineering teams.
- Ensure Collabria’s internal teams can operate new digital services effectively and support them through our ticketing system. Collaborate with suppliers to integrate defined escalation processes.
Terraform and infrastructure as code (IaC) governance
- Own Collabria’s Terraform operating model, including module governance, code review expectations, naming and tagging standards, secure state management and deployment approvals.
- Define reusable landing zone and platform patterns.
- Promote policy as code, version-controlled infrastructure and auditable deployment practices to reduce configuration drift and manual changes in the cloud.
Security, risk management and supplier governance
- Integrate Secure by Design principles.
- Support the Mythos and Imperium initiatives by translating control requirements into actionable technology patterns and remediation priorities.
- Represent Collabria in strategic technical discussions with suppliers and participate in product assessments, due diligence and roadmap reviews.
