Graphic / Visual Designer II (Level 8)
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)

About the Role
We are seeking a talented and strategic Graphic Designer II to join our creative team. In this role, you will develop compelling visual communications that support business objectives while maintaining brand excellence. You will partner with communications, marketing, and business stakeholders to create innovative solutions across digital, print, presentation, event, and multimedia channels.
This position is ideal for a creative professional who combines strong design expertise with strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and a passion for visual storytelling, with the ability to support multimedia production needs when required.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop high-quality creative assets across digital and print channels.
Create layouts, artwork, presentations, event branding, email communications, social media assets, and marketing materials.
Develop visual elements that enhance storytelling and audience engagement.
Provide design consultation and creative guidance to stakeholders and business partners.
Ensure all deliverables meet brand, accessibility, legal, and compliance requirements.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining exceptional quality.
Lead moderately complex creative projects from concept through execution.
Collaborate effectively with writers, communications partners, production teams, vendors, and subject matter experts.
Contribute to creative standards, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Deep research on brand identity to develop new layouts which can work on multi-platform from digital to print materials
Support video and photography productions in studio, office, and event environments as required.
Assist with on-set needs such as equipment preparation, cable management, media handling, and general crew support.
Apply working knowledge of camera, lighting, audio, and grip equipment, including safe setup, operation, and teardown.
Qualifications
Required
5+ years of professional graphic design experience.
Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise across digital and print design.
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and more).
Experience designing presentations, event branding, social media content, and corporate communications materials.
Strong understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and visual storytelling.
Excellent project management and stakeholder communication skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of brand governance and accessibility best practices.
Preferred
Motion graphics and video production (After Effects, Premiere Pro).
Experience with corporate communications, financial services, or enterprise environments.
Familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint and presentation design.
Experience working with external creative vendors and production partners.
Basic post-production experience using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and/or DaVinci Resolve.
Understanding of event photography fundamentals, including camera operation, exposure, composition, and file management.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment and taking direction from producers, directors, and technical leads.
