Programmer Analyst, DevOps and Platform Reliability

The DevOps and Platform Reliability Programmer Analyst combines DevOps, site reliability engineering (SRE) and platform automation responsibilities. This role is responsible for CI/CD capabilities, deployment automation, observability, technical governance of production releases, and reliability practices for services managed internally by Collabria. You will work with the cloud, application, and integration teams to reduce repetitive operational tasks, improve deployment results, and ensure that production services can be effectively monitored and restored. More specifically, you will be required to :

  • Design, develop and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions for applications, APIs and infrastructure.
  • Standardize build, testing, approval, environment promotion and deployment practices, while preserving the required separation of duties.
  • Integrate automated quality, security, and configuration validation controls into the delivery workflows.
  • Establish service-level indicators (SLIs), service-level objectives (SLOs), and practical operational metrics for internally managed critical services.
  • Set up dashboards, logs and alerts using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics and Application Insights, ensuring that alerts are actionable and assigned to clearly identified support owners.
  • Analyze reliability trends, capacity, performance, and recurring failures, then drive the required corrective actions.
  • Be responsible for integrating Terraform pipelines, including planning, validation, approval, deployment and evidence retention.
  • Collaborate with the cloud engineer regarding modules, state management processes, and environment configuration, as well as with the IT platforms lead for governance standards.
  • Coordinate the technical readiness of production releases by ensuring that approved changes include test evidence, deployment plans, rollback procedures, communications and post-deployment checks
  • Support planned and emergency deployments, including interventions outside regular hours when necessary for critical services.

What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology or an appropriate field
  • A minimum of six years of experience in DevOps, SRE, platform engineering or cloud operations, including production support
  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Knowledge of French is required
  • Intermediate advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
  • Expertise with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, infrastructure as code (IaC), observability and production deployment automation
  • Expertise in financial services or another regulated environment
  • Expertise with Docker, Kubernetes, AKS or Helm is an asset when relevant to Collabria’s roadmap
  • Proficiency in Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Git, CI/CD design and deployment governance
  • Knowledge of Terraform, Bicep, PowerShell and automated infrastructure validation
  • Knowledge of Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights and performance and availability analysis
  • Knowledge of Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure storage, networking, and cloud-native deployment models
