Course Lecturer position for WILD 401: Fisheries and Wildlife Management

Department of Natural Resource Sciences

Term: Fall 2026

Location: Macdonald Campus; McGill University

Teaching Qualification Requirements:
Education

Graduate degree, preferably PhD, in Fisheries Management or a related area

Experience

University-level teaching experience in the area of fish and wildlife ecology, conservation and management.

Familiarity with the course is an asset.

Course: 3 credits

The course will be delivered in person.

WILD 401 is a team-taught course. This Course Lecturer contract will be for a .25 position; full contract amount of $11,824.00 will be pro-rated accordingly.


Note that WILD 401 includes a 4-day field trip which will take place September 26-29.

The McGill exam sessions take place over two weeks after the end of classes, and Course Lecturers are expected to be available on the day of a scheduled final exam and are required to grade final exams as part of their contract.
