The Institute of Islamic Studies is hiring a course lecturer to teach AFRI 200: Introduction to African Studies in the Fall 2026 term.

Introduction to African Studies is a course that offers an interdisciplinary overview of a wide range of themes pertaining to Africa including issues related to political conflict, governance and democratization, environment and conservation, economic development, rural life and urbanism, public health, gender, social change, popular culture, literature and the arts

Teaching Qualification Requirements:

Education

PhD in relevant discipline.

Experience

Previous teaching experience essential.
