Senior Manager, Loyalty Partnerships

PC Optimum is Canada’s most loved loyalty program, helping millions of members get more value from the brands and experiences they engage with every day. As we continue to evolve the program and deepen the role of loyalty across our enterprise, we are looking for a strategic, commercially minded partnership leader to join the Loyalty Partnerships team and help manage and grow our important financial services partnerships.

The Senior Manager, Loyalty Partnerships will be responsible for the day-to-day ownership, execution, and growth of the EQ Bank partnership within the PC Optimum ecosystem. This role will play a critical part in supporting the transition of the PC Financial Mastercard portfolio to EQB, ensuring strong partner management, high-quality execution, and continued delivery of value for members, the partner, and the PC Optimum program.

This is a highly cross-functional role that sits at the intersection of loyalty, financial services, marketing, analytics, digital, operations, and partner management. You will help translate partnership strategy into clear plans, build the operating cadence required to keep teams aligned, and identify new ways to use loyalty to drive acquisition, engagement, retention, spend, and long-term growth.

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day lead for the EQB partnership within PC Optimum, building trusted relationships with partner stakeholders and internal teams.
  • Act as the main access point into PC Optimum for EQB, helping the partner navigate Loyalty, Marketing, Digital, Analytics, Finance, Technology, Customer Care, Operations, Legal, and other enterprise teams.
  • Establish and maintain the operating cadence for the loyalty working team, including regular touchpoints, clear agendas, issue tracking, decision follow-ups, and cross-functional alignment.
  • Manage ongoing partner needs, risks, dependencies, and issues, escalating when needed and ensuring teams remain focused on shared outcomes.
  • Partner with internal teams and EQB to design targeted, data-driven loyalty campaigns that support acquisition, engagement, retention, spend, and other partnership objectives.
  • Drive integration of EQB into PC Optimum-owned and Loblaw channels, including app, email, digital, in-store, and other relevant member touchpoints.
  • Track and report on partnership KPIs, with support from Analytics and Insights. Translate performance results into clear insights, recommendations, and action plans for the partnership.
  • Support the development of business cases for new initiatives, including opportunity sizing, expected member impact, investment requirements, financial implications, and operational considerations.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape across loyalty, credit cards, fintech, banking, and retail partnerships, and recommend enhancements that improve member value and partnership performance.
  • Support senior leadership through analysis, recommendations, executive-ready materials, and executional follow-through on strategic partnership priorities.

Does this sound like you?

  • You have 6-10 years of experience in financial services, credit cards, banking, fintech, partnerships, loyalty, marketing, or a related field.
  • You have experience managing strategic partnerships and know how to balance partner objectives, customer/member needs, and enterprise priorities.
  • You are a strong relationship builder who can work effectively with external partners and senior internal stakeholders across multiple functions.
  • You are commercially minded and comfortable working with business cases, KPIs, performance reporting, financial outcomes, and growth opportunities.
  • You are highly organized and can create structure in ambiguous environments.
  • You are comfortable working across multi-functional teams to get work done.
  • You can translate complex information into clear insights, recommendations, and executive-ready communication.
  • You are proactive, solutions-oriented, and comfortable managing risks, issues, dependencies, and competing priorities.
  • Experience with credit card portfolios, retail loyalty, coalition loyalty, partner-funded offers, digital engagement, or customer lifecycle marketing is considered an asset.
