Rod Pump Technician Application Link
Based out of our Clairmont, AB facility the Entry Level Rod Pump Technician will follow a designated learning plan, which includes computer-based modules and classroom training. During this period, tasks may be assigned by the Supervisor, and the technician will receive close supervision with a thorough review of all work to ensure the application of sound professional judgment.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Assembling and disassembling rental equipment (under supervision)
- Following work instructions to assemble liner systems (under supervision)
- Assisting senior workshop personnel in preparing and testing Thru-Tubing equipment
- Applying standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform tasks in strict accordance with Weatherford OEPS standards.
Qualifications
Required:
- Proficient in mechanical skills
- Openness to acquiring new knowledge and skills
- Collaborative team player with the capability to follow instructions
Preferred, but not required:
- Previous experience in the oil field
- Familiarity with Artificial Lift/ Rod Pump operations
