As a heavy-duty Custodial Associate, reporting to the Custodial Supervisor, you will be responsible for cleaning of all hard floor surfaces, carpet extraction and the cleaning of all surfaces and the collection and removal of garbage from drop points to a garbage compactor. This position is weekend work and to cover sick days/vacation through the week is needed. Must be comfortable working holidays, 7-day operation

Your work will include:

  • Full clean of washroom and shower rooms
  • Cleans glass and or high dust in areas
  • Cleaning of offices, dustings, vaccumming and rempval of garnage
  • Detail clean stairwells and elevator
  • Washes large floor surface using mop, walk behind or floor machine
  • Wipes high level ledges and windowsills
  • Cleans partition glass and facility pillars/posts that are within arm's reach
  • Transports cleaning machinery, when necessary, between floors and work areas.
  • Removes & transports garbage from drop points to garbage compactor

Qualifications

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Must have 6 months or more experience operating cleaning equipment
  • Must have a willingness to work with cleaning machines
  • Ability to obtain a clear criminal record through the Waterloo Regional Police station before hired.
