Our Events Bartenders are the life of the party—bringing expert knowledge, charm, and energy to every event. Whether it's a corporate gala, a private celebration, or one of Toronto's most exclusive functions, our bartenders create memorable guest experiences with every pour.
You have a passion for food, wine, and spirits, and you're eager to share that knowledge with guests. Your natural showmanship, attention to detail, and ability to build guest relationships make you a standout behind the bar. You prepare drinks efficiently and to spec, maintain a clean and organized bar, and ensure each guest leaves with a smile—and a story to tell.
The Day to Day:
- You make an unforgettable first impression, warmly welcoming guests with energy and enthusiasm
- You stay aware of your environment, ready to lend a hand and anticipate guest needs before they ask
- You're menu-savvy, confidently recommending cocktails, wine, and beer with thoughtful suggestions
- You bring a strong working knowledge of spirits and mixology, and love sharing fun facts and stories behind the drinks
- You're a guest magnet—they love coming back to your bar because you make it feel like the best seat in the house
- You value accuracy and timing—from managing tabs and taking orders to coordinating with the kitchen for seamless service
- You go above and beyond for special occasions, taking allergies and preferences seriously, and personalizing every interaction
- You're a team player, communicating smoothly with servers, kitchen staff, and managers for flawless service flow
- You move with purpose and urgency, even during the busiest moments
- You take ownership of your bar—checking keg and liquor levels, assisting with inventory, and ensuring everything runs like clockwork
- Other duties as assigned or required
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender in events or restaurants
- Valid Smart Serve certificate required
- Wine, beer and cocktail knowledge is required.
- WSET preferred but not required
- Passion for food, beverage and providing excellent customer service
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and able to lift and move beer kegs, liquor and wine boxes
- Flexible availablity; evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
