As a Host, you're the first point of contact for our guests — setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience from the moment they walk through the door. You'll work closely with both the front-of-house and back-of-house teams, learning our proven systems and procedures while bringing a professional, enthusiastic attitude to every shift. Your warm hospitality and attention to detail will help set our restaurant apart and create a rave-worthy guest experience.
The Day to Day:
- You exude a warm and welcoming presence, in person and over the phone — even during the busiest times
- You communicate confidently and clearly with Servers, Bartenders, and Managers to manage guest flow throughout the restaurant
- You escort guests to their tables, engaging them with friendly conversation and a sincere smile
- You are detail-oriented, accurately taking and managing reservations both in person and by phone
- You understand the importance of first impressions — keeping the front entrance, host stand, and surrounding areas clean, organized, and fully stocked
- You'll quickly become familiar with table numbers and floor plans, staying aware of section availability and server rotations
- You assist with other duties as assigned, always supporting the team and the guest experience
Qualifications
- High attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment
- Organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain a level of professional urgency and momentum
- Minimum 1 year experience in customer service, restaurant experience considered an asset
- Valid Smart Serve Required
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
