WHAT'S THE JOB?

Reporting to the Director, Operational Support and the Client Reservations Analyst, the successful candidate will manage reservations for all client camp assets. This position will appeal to individuals who are collaborative in their approach, problem solvers, creative, flexible, self-motivated, results oriented, detailed and who want to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Reservation Assistant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:

Reservations:

  • Reservation system is maintained effectively
  • Monitor and manage site availability
  • Maintain and organize reservation mailboxes and queue requests
  • Enter room requests into property management software
  • Manage and notify the front desks of time off requests
  • Check "No Show" reports and send out No-Show emails
  • Maintain all camp distribution lists
  • Assist front desks with internal transfers
  • Innfinity logging if support issues occur
  • Respond to client room requests/inquires in a timely manner

Other Duties:

  • Field calls related to room reservations from the Camp Front Desks and the Client Representatives
  • Responsible for adhoc projects as required
  • Complete tasks outlined by the Reservations Analyst

Qualifications

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Advanced Innfinity - property management software experience considered an asset
  • Advanced MS Office (Excel)
  • Works effectively in a fast-paced environment and within defined timelines
  • Ability to work independently, within a team, and multi-task
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage competing priorities
  • Experience working with front desk tasks
  • Proactive problem solver
  • Strong Business Acumen
  • Excellent analytical, time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in camp or hospitality management

Travel to the field is required during peak project times.
